JavaScript if you want to see your work in a browser the same evening – the feedback loop is the shortest in the industry. Python if you are heading towards data, automation or machine learning, because the libraries are where the field actually lives. Java or C# if you are aiming at a large employer with an existing codebase, where the language is chosen for you anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n
Most of what you learn in the first six months is not the language. It is loops, state, debugging, reading an error message without panic, and the habit of breaking a problem into parts small enough to test. Those transfer whole.
